How much is a transfer from Cousine Island to Praslin?

I'll be on Cousine Island on the 22nd of August and I would like to go to Praslin, by boat.

Could you organize a transfer for us in the late afternoon, and if you can, could you tell me the cost for 2 persons?

Hey Alex
First I must congratulate you on your choice of resort and island in the Seychelles for your holiday. You see, Cousine Island is an exclusive private island. This is the place to really get away from it all and be treated like a prince for a few days.

You're going to be in the midst of luxury and you'll be pampered on Cousine Island. This is top of the line for Seychelles. The island is a little small - 65 acres, but with only 3 other couples in addition to yourselves, you have the setting for a holiday made in heaven.

Now to answer your question: Yes of course a transfer to the nearby island of Praslin, either by boat or helicopter, can be arranged easily and it is very fast as Cousine is only 2 miles from Praslin, but since it is a private island all transfers must be arranged in collaboration with the island's management. And you could charter a boat from the larger island of Praslin from the many operators there, but why bother!

My suggestion is to make it easy on yourself. Let Cousine Island arrange it all for you while you enjoy your holiday. Your host can take care of all the details. You're in good hands.

BTW I hope you will take a trip to its sister island, Cousin which is an equally charming little place - a bird sanctuary and a haven for some very rare birds. Those two islands have much in common and they're just a mile apart. Enjoy them both.

And since you talk of going to Praslin Island don't skip the Vallee de Mai and of course the world famous beach, Anse Lazio. And try get to La Digue Island too, even for just a day trip. It's a quick boat ride from Praslin, which is just 4 miles away.
