Get a car, strap up and let's go. The yellow line on the map indicates the road. We start at Bel Ombre, and then on to Beau Vallon, Glacis, North Point... The drive ends in Victoria after crossing the mountain (Area 8) from Port Glaud (Area 7). It's also your chance to discover all our favourite Seychelles beaches along the way.

Note there is no road around the North Western tip of Mahe. This is wild terrain with high cliffs dropping vertically into the ocean but there is a trekking trail from Baie Ternay to Bel Ombre (Danziles).

Of course, there is no hotel in that area. I have walked this trail twice. It is a pleasant 4-hour hike, which for me, was part of a much longer round-Mahe-Island marathon trek. But that's another story.
