"What is Seychelles' weather and climate like?"

Seychelles climate is controlled by two major prevailing winds, the South East Trades from May through September and the North West Monsoon winds from November to March. Below we give you a brief outlook of what kind of weather to expect for each month of the year, but don't forget the old saying:

Seychelles climate - January
Northwest winds, Very wet till end of January. Sunny periods and heavy rains alternate. Warm - Daytime temperature 28°C - 30°C. Nights down to 25°C just before dawn.

Seychelles weather - February
Northwest winds, sunny and some rain showers. Warm - Daytime temperature 28°C - 30°C. Night time down to 25°C

Seychelles climate - March
Northwest winds, sunny. The winds are decreasing in strength and direction varies, and calm period starts by mid march. Very warm - Daytime temperature 29°C - 31°C. Occasionally can reach 33°C. Night down to 26°C early morning. It's the first equinox.

Seychelle weather - April
Calm to light breezes, sunny. Very warm - Daytime temperature 29°C - 31°C. Can still get the odd 32°C late afternoon. Night down to 25°C.

Climate in Seychelles - May
Southeast trade winds dry, sunny. Warm - Daytime temperature 28°C - 30°C. Night down to 26°C. The SE wind starts to blow and moderates the heat. It's the beginning of the dry season.
