About: Lemuria Hotel is only 5 minutes from the Praslin airport (Ile des Palmes) and about 25 minutes from the Baie Sainte Anne ferry jetty over the hills. It has an 18-hole championship golf course and its vast property borders with three beautiful beaches,

Note: Lemuria Resort is among the bigger hotels of Seychelles and it is the biggest on Praslin Island. This is a luxury hotel where you will be pampered.

Just keep driving another 3 minutes after you pass the end of Cote d'Or Beach. It is about 25 minutes from the Praslin airstrip and 15 minutes from the Baie Sainte Anne jetty.

About: This hotel is on the South West coast of Praslin about 20 minutes from the Praslin airport and 15 minutes from the Baie Sainte Anne jetty over the hills. It's actually made up of two hotels - the Coco de Mer Hotel and its sister, the Black Parrot Suites.

About: New Emerald Cove is in a very quiet location, 10 minutes by boat from Baie Sainte Anne jetty. It overlooks Round Island just offshore. While it is on the mainland of Praslin it is secluded and there is no access road, so the way to the property is by boat only. A covered boat shuttles across between the hotel and Baie Sainte Anne jetty 6 to 8 times a day, so you don't feel stranded.

About: Acajou Hotel is another nice hotel near Cote d'Or Beach, the longest beach on Praslin Island, 10 minutes from the Baie Sainte Anne jetty and 20 minutes from the Praslin airstrip. It's a nice place and somewhat cheaper.

About: The Hotel is on the north coast of Praslin about 20 minutes from the Praslin airport and 10 minutes from the Baie Sainte Anne jetty. It's the first of several hotels along this stretch of road but different. The entrance is on your right whether you come from the airstrip or the jetty.

It is well situated with rooms right on the beach and has a nice restaurant too serving good and relatively cheap food - nice fish. Some say, it has the best restaurant on Praslin. Since we've tried it several times, I must say we agree.

About: The Hotel is further down the road on the north coast of Praslin about 25 minutes from the Praslin airport and 15 minutes from the Baie Sainte Anne jetty. It's the last of several hotels along this stretch of road down Cote d'Or beach with two restaurants, one right on the beach. It's a nice location.

This is one of the original Praslin hotels. The entrance is on your left. It's quite a lively place with live entertainment most nights at the hotel. We've stayed there several times, so I can say it's quite nice - the reason we keep returning.

About: The Hotel is not far from Paradise Sun Hotel, about 25 minutes from the Praslin airport and 12 minutes from the Baie Sainte Anne jetty. It's a fairly large hotel - among the big Praslin Island hotels - situated in the middle of the most popular beach on the island.

This hotel, like its counterpart in Mahe, Beau Vallon Bay Hotel, provides a wide variety of activities and water sports including sailing and scuba diving. You can also practise your tennis here.

L'Archipel Praslin Hotel

About: L'Archipel hotel is 5 minutes from Cote d'Or Beach, 10 minutes from the Baie Sainte Anne jetty and 25 minutes from the Praslin airport. It has its own small secluded beach and the rooms are on the hillside. L'Archipel has a very nice restaurant with good music and dancing a couple of times a week - really worth giving a try.

About: Castello Beach Hotel is a 27-unit luxury hotel in the 4-star-deluxe category situated on the northwest coast of Praslin Island - at Anse Kerlan. It has 26 suites and one beachside pool villa. It also has an outstanding restaurant and its beach bar is the  place to enjoy magnificent sunsets on Praslin.

The hotel is very well located in a quiet area. It is 25 minutes by car from the Baie Ste. Anne ferry jetty and only 5 minutes to the Praslin airstrip, which is served by light twin-prop aircrafts.

These above are our personal favourite Praslin hotels. In fact they are among the best beach hotels in Seychelles as far as location is concerned.
